Located in South Asia, India is the seventh-largest country by the total area, washed by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the west, and the Bay of Bengal on the east. Located on the south-west of India in the cradle of Western Ghat, it is the capital of spices and coconut palms, silver beaches, reed huts and picturesque canals. Papanasam beach of golden sand. This beach is famous for the natural wonder of the mineral water springs coming out of the cliffs. Thiruvambadi beach is quite small with black sand. They say that once the sand was silver, and then for some reason turned black. Kovalam is a small village with the beach of the same name at the foot of a cliff. It is very popular among tourists, especially those who travel alone.
The beach sand is black as in Tiruvambadi Varkale. Other beaches to the north and south, for simplicity, are also called Kovalam, but in reality, each beach has its own name as Poovar, Chowara, Cherai and more. Poovar beach is the place where the river (of the same name) separates the narrow strip of the beach from the plot of land with many hotels. You can get to the beach from the hotel only by boat. Its a golden sand beach - a fishing Artel with a lot of boats and fishermen. Chowara beach of golden sand is a narrow strip at the foot of a cliff. There are also many boats and fishermen, as well as a large football field. Only a small section of the beach are occupied by three hotels, located close to the cliffs. There is a small Christian church on Chovara beach.
