Hvar Island is the sunniest island of Croatia with a very mild climate, lots of nice medieval villages, amazing beach coves, and fragrant lavender growing on the hills. Southern coast of the island is full with perfect little pebbly bays. It is a favorite destination for many swimmers and sunbathers from Hvar town. The beaches can be reached by the road from Hvar or you can take the boat service regularly operating during Summer from Hvar's harbor. Obviously those beaches closer to Hvar town (Milna, Dubovica) are more popular, and those a bit further - like Zavala and Sveta Nedjelja - are more peaceful and relaxed.
Dubrovnik is also one of the most famous resorts in Croatia, a true paradise on earth with many museums, theaters and the purest sea across the Adriatic. The beaches in Dubrovnik are have the real Mediterranean feeling about them, the sun and the sea are not the only attractions here. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts. The popular beaches of this area are Copacabana beach, Banje and Lapad bay .
Split, situated not far from Dubrovnik is a popular resort, tours in Split are very popular, thanks not only to resort attraction of this place, but a host of world-famous attractions. The most popular beach in Split is Bacvice.
