Montezuma. This beach was recently awarded the 'blue flag' for the purity of the coast and waters. The choice of entertainment here is impressive, from the horse walks through the rain forest to the cruise, where you can do fishing and scuba diving.
You can find Montezuma beach on the peninsula of Nike, between the reserves of Curu and Cabo Blanco. Its a 25 minute flight or an 4,5 hour drive from San Jose, 5 miles away from the domestic airport of Tambor.
Tortuguero. Situated at Costa Rica's Caribbean side, Tortuguero beach is a dream place of ecotourism. |
