This area is known for its crystal clear water and breathtaking scenery. Its fluffy inhabitants, kangaroos and opossums are already well used to the attention and even learned to sit still for pictures. When you get tired of sunbathing and taking pictures of local furry residents, you can follow the coastal road and go to Rossiter Bay, which is about 15 km away.
Whitehaven beach. Queensland, Australia boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in all the country, famous the world over for its many gorgeous beaches and choice surfing territory. It claims the Whitsunday Islands, too, which are a long chain of 74 islets lying on the throat of the Coral Sea like treasured jewels, and nestled in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Riedle Beach is located on the island of Mary, in Tasmania. You can take a ferry, which departs from Triubanny, cycle around (about 90 minutes) or walk on foot (4,5 hours) from Darlington.
Wineglass Bay. Located in Freycinet National Park, it is not so crowded and considered one of the worlds most beautiful white sand beaches with crystal clear water and its famous crescent moon shape. From the carpark, less than an hour's walk through woodland brings visitors to a lookout over Wineglass Bay. The view from here is simply breathtaking. A perfect curve of the whitest sand imaginable, fringed by azure water and lush green forest.
Springs Beach is located in Queensland, south of Agnes Water. This beach lies behind sand dunes and is ideal for relaxation and taking gentle sunbathing. This beach is, of course, also very popular among surfers. A perfectly clean and clear water of the coral sea is perfect for swimming as well.
Waterloo Bay. This wonderful beach is only 200 km east of Melbourne with white sands and turquoise waters that can fool you and make you believe that you were on a tropical island ... until you enter the water and realize how cold it is. Nestled behind the sandhills of Waterloo Bay there is a green park, shady and sheltered, within close walking distance to all town facilities. Bells Beach is a coastal locality of Victoria, Australia in Surf Coast Shire and an internationally famous surf beach, located 100 km south-west of Melbourne, on the Great Ocean Road near the towns of Torquay and Jan Juc. Its the surf capital of Australia.
